Practical test on bones – starts Tuesday, 4/22/08 (until Monday, 4/28/08). You must see me to sign up for a time. The time slots are immediately before or after school. During the practical, you will have 4 minutes to build a leg/ankle/foot or an arm/wrist/hand and answer several questions.

View the ‘Instructional Video‘ and use the ‘Virtual Microscope‘. Be sure to know how to use each part of the microscope and know each part’s function.
Then go to http://micro.magnet.fsu.edu/primer/anatomy/introduction.html and complete the ‘Microscope Assembly‘ activity about half-way down the page.
Then go to http://micro.magnet.fsu.edu/primer/virtual/virtual.html and look at the ‘Scanning Electron Microscopy‘ activity. Feel free to look at the others too – they are pretty cool.
