Use any of the crimes or any of the crime investigation people we discussed in class to create an entry for our Forensics Literary Magazine. These entries may be short stories, essays, poems, cartoon strips, etc… They should be creative but informative.

Medicines by Design
Read the book Medicines by Design and answer the “Got It?” questions at the end of each chapter on a separate sheet of paper. Then read the booklet, From Molecules to Medicines and summarize the various scientific findings on each page. A few sentences per segment should be enough.

Anatomy Reading
Use your textbook to complete the following for anatomy:
- Read and outline pages 94-95 (A Closer Look: Cancer)
- Answer the following questions: page 61, clinical application #3; page 107, clinical application #1-3.
- Complete the study guide packet given in class.
Neuroscience Reading
Use your textbook to complete the following:
- Know the neurotransmitter information in the table on pages 392-393
- Read the “Closer Look” on page 396-397 and answer the questions given out in class.
- Read pages 456-461 and take notes on the sensory receptors.
- Complete the study guide pages given in class.

Neuron Quiz
There will be a quiz on all the information presented thus far but particular attention should be paid to the neuron structure, action potentials and synaptic events. The quiz will be Wednesday, 10/6/2009.
Miranda Rights
In your notebook, write down the Miranda rights and describe how these rights arose.
Science Fair Final Proposal
The science fair final proposal is due on October 6, 2009. This should include the items on the rubric given to you in class. The final proposal must be typed.
