Split Brain

What is split brain syndrome?

Split brain syndrome happens when the corpus callosum is damaged or cut so that the two hemispheres of the brain can not communicate with one another. This may occur, for example, from a surgery to try to alleviate epilepsy. Except under special conditions, a person with split brain syndrome behaves fairly normally. Under certain conditions though, neat things can happen. Explore the links below to investigate this condition further.
